Book 2: Boys of Tommen series by Chloe Walsh

Six books in the Boys of Tommen series by Chloe Walsh.

This series is a romance, high school with lots of trigger warnings. The characters in this series are so relatable, with loads of trauma in which you can relate to. They are long books and it is one of my favorite book series ever. I would read trigger warnings before reading these books and go in with an open heart, as these characters you will learn to love. I would bring this book series with me as it is a warm hug and would ease any anxiety I am going through.

Book 3: Chestnut Springs series by Elsie Silver

Five books in the Chestnut Springs series by Elsie Silver.

This book series is perfect for a summer read. It has cowboys and is based on brothers and friends. They have a really good found family which you love by the end. This book is a darker than the rest I have put on my list, it is also apart of a book series. I would bring this book as it has one of my favorite MM romances and I re read this book all the time if I am feeling slumpy. As it is different than the others due to its nature I feel like it will balance my pallet out so I don’t get too bored of reading. I would look up trigger warnings before reading this book.

Book 5: The Shepherd King Duology by Rachel Gillig

Two books in The Shepherd King duology by Rachel Gillig.

This duology is a gothic fantasy book with a unique magic system, romance and major plot twists. This is my most recent read and I enjoyed it so much and how it wrapped up. The magic system is easy to understand and this duology is plot driven. I would bring this book as I have really enjoyed reading it and would love to re read on the Island.

Book 6: The Six of Crows Duology by Leigh Bardugo

Two books in the Six of Crows Duology by Leigh Bardugo.

This duology follows 6 teenagers and their heists quests, with romance, plot twists and heist this book is actioned packed. They are fighting, stealing and the revelations catch you off guard.
