Library resources
The Library has a wide range of textbooks covering audiology and all clinical specialties, as well as non-clinical subjects such as research and leadership. All East Cheshire NHS Trust staff are able to join the library and borrow books. You can also search for e-journals, e-books and other online resources through the NHS Knowledge & Library Hub.
Keep updated
The library produces a number of current awareness updates and bulletins, including an Audiology update. Visit the current awareness page to read the latest issue or to subscribe to receive updates.
KnowledgeShare is our targeted current awareness service. Register with your clinical interests to receive fortnightly alerts sent to your email. Your KnowledgeShare profile can be as broad or specific as you need, and can be updated as your interests change.

A lot of resources are accessed using an NHS OpenAthens username and password. Athens accounts are free to set up and use – click the button below to register for an account. If you’ve previously had an Athens account at another trust, you can log in to update your details.
Journals
Access all our journals online via BrowZine. Browse journal titles, access full texts, and save favourite journals or articles to your bookshelf.
Evidence search service
We provide evidence and literature search services, free of charge, to save you time and ensure that you have the information you need. Visit the Evidence Search page to request a search, or email us on ecn-tr.stafflibrary@nhs.net.
