Resident Doctors

From 18th September 2024, Junior Doctors became known as Resident Doctors. Resident Doctors are fully qualified doctors who are either currently in postgraduate training or gaining experience as locally employed doctors, working at F1 to ST9 level.

Library resources

The Library has a wide range of textbooks covering all clinical specialties, as well as non-clinical subjects such as research and leadership. All East Cheshire NHS Trust staff are able to join the library and borrow books. You can also search for e-journals, e-books and other online resources through the NHS Knowledge & Library Hub.

Keep updated

The library produces a number of current awareness updates and bulletins with the latest research published on different topics. Visit the current awareness page to read the latest issues or to subscribe to receive updates. Alternatively, you can register for KnowledgeShare. KnowledgeShare is our targeted current awareness service. Register with your clinical interests to receive fortnightly alerts sent to your email. Your KnowledgeShare profile can be as broad or specific as you need, and can be updated as your interests change.
