If you are undertaking study for a course, the library can support you by providing:
Research support– The library offers training on how to best use your information resources, evidence searching, critical appraisal skills, reference management and referencing. Contact Holly Cook (hospital staff) or Steve Collman (community staff) to discuss your information needs. Resources - The library has a wide selection of useful books and e-books on research, study skills and reflective practice, as well as a comprehensive collection of clinical and non-clinical subjects. We also have a range of information bulletins to help you keep up-to-date in your area of interest. Inter-library loans - When an essential book or journal article is not held by our library, we try our best to obtain it for you through our Inter-Library Loan (ILL) system. An environment to study – the library is open 24/7 and has study tables, 10 computers, printing, photocopying and scanning services. Plus tea & coffee!
